So I kinda know how to sew, not well. But it gets the job done. With regards, I should find my sewing machine manual. With all said and done, I made my dog a bed. It took forever, because I couldn't find my fabric scissors and I was using a child's size safety sciccors instead. Then my sewing machine kept jamming on the fleece. Ah! It probably was too thick and on the wrong setting. Will make for later thoughts next time I sew with 6 layers of fleece. :D Anyways, I made him a new bed. Not only did he get a bed made special to his size for less than $6, but a blanket too! Turned out awesome and they match! He seems to like both! Super excited. Now I can throw away his first stinky and torn up round bed away and replace it with this new bright clean and washable one! Yay!

Being Broke doesn't pay...
...but projects that someone else pays for does. :D I get help pick out colors, the pattern, and I get to knit (or crochet) it! How amazing is that? The only thing is I have to give it up. But I feel like I am giving. It feels good to have my work sent to someone else. Like it's out there, where someone is enjoying it (or at least I hope) instead of in a box, in a drawer, or in an end table collecting dust. Lol.
Well here are some new pictures to the new scarf I am knitting. The cast on was a pain in the @$$! Took more than a day to get it right. I love long tail cast on's, but 600 sts... yeah. Meanwhile, the stitch holders, I made them about a year ago. Love 'em. Need to make some more! Enjoy.

Fall scarf 2 in 2010
I am using 3 balls of the Koigu KPPPM. 2 balls of the black multi-color (dye lot P326 145) and 1 ball of the green multi (dye lot P521 157). I will be knitting this in a Linen Stitch pattern I found on Ravelry. The pattern calls for 3 colors. But my friend wanted just the 2 colors. I am sure it is also going to be just as wonderful. Can't wait... the Casting On however is taking forever...600 sts. 8/ ... Lol!
Fall scarf 2010. Done!
The fall scarf was finished today! Super soft. And I know I am going to miss it. :( But it sure is beautiful1 :D

So many projects so little time
Anyways, this scarf I am working on is almost done with, it's beautiful. It will be a hard one to let go of. I have noticed that I have so much going on, other that just knitting... family, kids in school, soccer, ect ect. Not to mention all the projects I have promised myself and time too. What did I do? Why did I do it? I am in a hole full of yarn... honestly that would be a kind of a dream, but the projects aren't mine, they are but they aren't. I will make love to them and then see them go. Bitter sweet. Right now, I would like to make scarfs for myself and the kids. I think they would love that. I know I would LOVE to make them their own scarfs. With yarn and colors they could pick out!
Aw... the project dreams. So glad I started this. Need a wish list of yarns, and projects. But it all costs money. Eh... Dreams.
The chevron garter scarf
Okay back to this pattern I am working on.
I used the Koigu KPPPM. (I love this yarn.) It is so so soft and the colors are amazing. The variety, WOW! I am using the Red multi (Dye lot PC12344) and a Dark purple (Dye lot 216923). Amazing colors. I will post pictures of the scarf soon.
